Poultry Varieties
This Unit earlier established during 1960 as Central Poultry Breeding Farm with a primary objective of development and multiplication of high producing layer stocks, broiler stocks and turkey stocks. After restructuring, the mandate of the Unit has been changed for Production, development and multiplication of low input technology birds with primary objective of rural poultry development across the region.
FACILITIES: |
- Poultry Houses - 6 brooder houses, 2 rearing houses, one testing house, 16 breeding houses,
3 laying houses, 2 cage houses are available for breeding of stocks.
- Big semi range houses.
- Feed Store and Feed Mixing Plant.
- Hatchery equipped with fully automatic incubators of 55,000 eggs capacity and three hatchers of 27,000 capacity.

- Lays more than 200 brown eggs

HOW TO BOOK: |
Hatching Eggs and Dayold chicks of both commercial and parentstock will be supplied on first come first serve basis.
